Nouvelle Idée is looking for a new member to join our team as an account manager for social media. This person will play a central role in the success of our clients by ensuring the strategic and creative management of their social media accounts, from the initiation of mandates to delivery. If you are passionate about social media, creative, highly organized, with an excellent sense of priorities, and have around 3 years of experience in communications, ideally 1 of which in an agency, you are in the right place.

We mainly collaborate with companies and brands that are similar to us, that have heart, vision and ambition. Our projects mainly affect sectors such as catering, food and beverage, sports, culture, events and more. In short, customers who want to create beautiful things and who like to work in teams.

Mandate
In collaboration with the team of social media managers, under the supervision of the Senior Communications Advisor, you will be the key person between our clients, the team, and the client's accounts. Your role: build a relationship of trust, ensure rigorous monitoring of mandates, and contribute concretely to the creation of content and the performance of accounts.

In particular, you will have to:

• Ensure the planning, coordination, implementation and delivery of mandates on social networks
• Be the main point of contact for your customers, ensure smooth follow-up and maintain a relationship of trust
• Prepare and facilitate monthly meetings with customers, ensure follow-ups and translate needs into clear actions for the team
• Develop content strategies adapted to the goals, audiences and identity of each client
• Actively participate in content creation: writing, photo and video capture, simple editing, format adaptation, programming
• Contribute to production and artistic direction during professional photo and video shoots
• Ensure respect for the lines of communication and artistic direction specific to each client
• Produce, analyze and present monthly performance reports, with concrete recommendations
• Animating and growing the community: moderation, responses, stimulation of interactions, proposals for initiatives
• Participate in field events from time to time to cover content in real time
• Supervise the social media intern, if applicable
• Other tasks considered relevant to the smooth implementation of mandates

Profile wanted

• Bachelor's degree in communications, writing, or marketing, or equivalent relevant experience
• 2 years or more of community management experience, ideally with agency experience
• Bilingualism, with an impeccable command of written French
• Excellent ability to develop and maintain customer relationships based on trust
• Creativity, adaptability and a strong attention to detail
• Very good knowledge of platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn
• Excellent understanding of social media marketing trends and best practices
• Great versatility and ability to manage several mandates in parallel
• Sense of initiative, autonomy and resourcefulness
• Excellent sense of organization and priority management
• Knowledge in photo and video production, an asset
• Positive energy and a unifying attitude

Conditions of employment

• Salary : according to experience. To be discussed
• Post : full time, between 35 and 40 hours per week
• Workplace: we prefer to work in person at our offices on Laurier Street in Montreal. Given the nature of the position, the person must also be able to travel to Montreal to meet our customers. Teleworking is possible when this does not interfere with the smooth functioning of operations, by notifying the team in advance.
• Timetable : we prefer an office schedule from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the flexibility required depending on mandates and events. The person will be able to adjust their schedule accordingly.
• Vacations: 4 weeks from the first year, including 2 weeks during the holiday season, and 2 weeks to be taken at another time in the year
